Combat Boot? No - Waste of Money, YES!

This boot looks good, feels solid and supportive, but the heel started to separate after maybe 25 hours of wearing. All hours in the office. NO ruck-marches, NO field work. Office work only!

The heel makes a very audible snapping noise as the heel hits the ground. Imagine loudly snapping your fingers with every heel touch. That's what it sounds like. I superglued the heel separation back together, but the snapping noise remains. For clarity, it is NOT from lazily removing the boot by stepping on the heel. The location makes this obvious.

Salomon won't fix / replace the boot under warranty, as they claim its wear and tear. Lol
Less than a week worth of office wearing, and this so called "combat boot" is not wearable.

Your experience may differ, but I would NOT recommend this boot.
And their ridiculous claim of wear and tear means I will not purchase another one of their products.

The boot could still be put on a store shelf and nobody would know it was previously worn....but the heel separation is wear and tear. Lol

Don't buy.... Look at a different boot.
I lost all respect for this brand.
