What do you need to succeed in this role?

· Previous experience with or knowledge of Tactical equipment is a MUST.

· 2-4 years of previous top-notch customer service in sales.

· Previous experience with technical clothing & footwear.

· A passion for helping first responders stay safe.

· Solid listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· The ability to change priorities quickly.

· Comfort with the Microsoft Office suite.

· The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. comfortably and safely, and to stand for long periods of time.

Bonus skills:

· Basic working knowledge and comfort with firearms (having a PAL would be helpful).

· Experience with inventory management software, and

· Experience dealing with first responder and/or military communities would be an asset.

What’s the job?

This position is largely Customer Service focused as you will be working with customers to answer product questions, find the best equipment for their needs, assist with orders, follow up on deliveries, and help post-purchase with warranty, returns, and exchanges. We are looking for someone who knows our products and, ideally, has used them.

When not actively helping customers, you will be keeping the showroomstocked, tidied, and welcoming. We’re very proud of our showroom, so we work daily to keep it clean and sanitized for our customers’ comfort and safety.

We spend a significant amount of time learning about new and existing product lines. You don’t have to know it all now, just be willing to learn every day.

Effective communication and teamwork with other departments are critical to our business’ success. You will need to be able to work well with a lot of individuals with different priorities and needs in order to meet your goals, as well as the company’s goals.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is $18-22/hour to start, plus benefits.
