    Flapless is Flawless

Going from flaps, to bungee to kywi seems like a natural progression in the mag retention world.

Flaps absolutely suck for partially spent re-indexing bumping or any such mag movement. Bungee was an alternative that still sucked, kywi's are the real answer to all magazine carrying and use issues.

Retention isn't an issue, if your bungie jumping then maybe they might fall out, but short of that your gold.

I like the shorts with a standard 30 rounder so you get LOTS of purchase on the magazine. HSGI made their version which is about the same I find a bit less grab, and more costly. For under 10 bucks you can even convert your old pouches with a bit of sewing. Never, ever going back to flaps!
