The HWI Heavyweight Nomex® Hood is a flame-resistant protective hood designed for tactical professionals operating in environments where exposure to heat, flame, and flash hazards is a concern. Constructed from heavyweight DuPont™ Nomex®, it provides enhanced thermal insulation and FR protection while maintaining the coverage required for demanding operational use.
Designed for law enforcement, military, and tactical applications, the Heavyweight Nomex Hood provides flame and flash protection at temperatures up to 800°F. Its simple, low-profile construction makes it suitable for integration with other protective equipment and operational clothing systems.
