    Colder, Thinner, and Not the Same Quality as Before”

    This new generation is noticeably colder, thinner, and lower quality compared to the previous Cold WX Hoody LT. The insulation feels reduced, the jacket is lighter in a bad way, and overall warmth is nowhere near what the older model provided.

    Unfortunately, Arc’teryx seems to be cutting costs and the product reflects it. This version is not suitable for real cold-weather use, especially for those who rely on LEAF gear professionally. I hope they return to the quality of earlier generations.

    Excellent coat

    Coat provides great warmth in cooler temperatures combined with the gortex which acts as an excellent wind barrier. Definitely consider if you’re looking for a quality medium weight puffy coat, would require a water proof shell if in rainy conditions.
