    The "Woolly Pully" sweater was originally developed during World War II for use by the S.A.S. and Bomber Command.

    This heavy wool, rib knit crew neck sweater is hardwearing and functional, complete with shoulder patches and elbow patches. Durable and hardwearing, this classic crew neck sweater retains its appearance and shape wash after wash.

    Great sweater.

    Very warm. It will shrink if you run it through the washer/dryer, so follow the care instructions. Fits true-to-size, but is meant to be snug; it works well as a mid-layer for very cold days, on top of a long-sleeve wicking base layer (helps as the wool is pretty itchy). Long enough to tuck in, as well.
