    Great boots

    Have used these my whole career. They are comfortable and rugged. The side zip is great.

    Awkward Zipper, but fantastic boots!

    Overall the boots are fantastic. Very hard to find good fitting boots for my feet (wide and weird), and these boots fit the bill. In fact they are replacing my old set of Bates Goretex boots that i purchased in '06 - yes, they lasted that long. I could still use the old set, but frays, holes and loss of insulation meant i needed to purchase new ones.
    The only druthers i have is that the Zipper on the right one, only sometimes will unzip. Most times i just have to unlace the boot.
    Otherwise, fantastic boots, and much less inexpensive than the unobtainium Lowa's (which don't fit my feet anyway).
