    I’ve worn 5.11 boots for close to 20 years, including many years of hard use as a police officer. The A.T.A.C. 2.0 8” Storm remains, without question, the most comfortable duty boot I’ve worn. I’ve tried a bunch of other popular brands, none are as good as these imo

    They are surprisingly lightweight for an 8-inch waterproof duty boot, comfortable through long shifts, and require very little break-in. In my experience, a pair generally lasted about 18 months to two years of demanding use.
