    A renowned 5.11 Tactical boot steps up its profile with heightened performance and comfort. The A.T.A.C. 2.0 8" Shield lightens things up but remains deadly serious about delivering superior safety in the most unforgiving environments. An added 5.11 SlipStream™ waterproof / bloodborne pathogen membrane, ASTM/CSA CARBON-TAC toe, and an ASTM/CSA puncture resistant board provide critical protection. Full-length dual durometer Ortholite® footbed works to keep your feet cool, dry, and comfortable all day every day. Another addition, the Achilles heel flex zone, gives a critical part of your foot more range of motion without compromising support and stability. This boot is so tough, it can live up to the ASTM F2413-17 I/75/C75 EH PR standards, day in and day out. CSA Z195-09 rated for compression, cutting, abrasion, and electrical discharge protection.

    boots

    These boots are great! Very comfortable and break in quick. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because the toe wears out very quick. I do work as a mechanic so it may be unfair to expect the toe to last longer. I would love if they made a toe guard for technicians.

    Second order from 911supply, same boot

    I have purchased multiple pairs (and a few iterations) of the 5.11 ATAC Shield, and keep coming back to them because they are comfortable for what they are and last longer than similar products from the competition.

    I used to be able to purchase them locally but they were dropped by these retailers. My previous pair came from another vendor as my size was out of stock at 911supply, but thankfully when the time came to get this pair my preferred online vendor had them available. I appreciate the stock and the speedy shipping- thanks guys!

    Great Patrol Boots

    Had them for a couple weeks now and have been great in the summer heat as well as rain/puddles. Mine needed a bit of a break in period but gets more comfortable with every shift.
    My old supervisor has had his pair for years and they’re still holding up.

    Combat boot look, but a great boot, nice and lightweight for a CSA safety boot, and the widest boot / toe cap I’ve found…at last! Wore my last pair mainly as winter / work boots and was warm with good wool socks down to -20 C . Waterproof too. Not heavy duty construction level rock kickers, but light enough for everyday wear AND safety boot compliance. Opening also wide enough so side zipper not really needed. Comfy right out of box. Composite Toe box does not pinch my wide duck feet at all. I highly recommend these safety boots for wide feet

    This is the third pair of 5.11 shields I have bought. I feel that speaks for itself.
    If you want more, the break in period is minimal, the boots mold to your feet like a glove, and they are great for being on your feet for long days on concrete floors
